Shiv Shankar Menon has been a dynamic officer of the Indian Foreign Services who has since risen to the very top of his professional ladder.

Rajendra Singh Pawar has been the Founder of the National Institute Of Information Technology Ltd,a publicly listed information technology services corporation,founded in India in 1981. He is currently its chairman. NIIT specialized NIIT consulting, software development, systems integration and training, education. The company today employees over 3500 people worldwide-with operation in over 25 countries including China, Hongkong, India, Japan, Malasiya, Singapore, Thailand, United Kingdom and USA. In India it has been ranked as No. 1 in Information Technology Services and is No. 3 in the entire Indian IT industry. The blueprint for NIIT was convinced and archived by Rajendra Singh Pawar in 1981.

Dushant Singh was commissioned in the Indian Air Force as a Fighter Pilot and rose to the rank of Air Chief Marshal. He had a phenomenal 8000 hours of flying on fighter air crafts to his credit. A qualified Flying Instructor he was sent on deputation to the Government of Iraq in 1970-71 as part of the Indian Training Team. He also served as part of UN Forces in Belgian Congo in 1961-1962. He held several key staff and command appointments in the Indian Air Force. He qualified the Senior Defense Management Course and the National Defense College Course. For his services of an exceptional order he was awarded the Param Vishist Seva Medal, the Vayu Sena Medal and The Vishist Seva Medal. Dr. Paresh Dandona has been in the medical profession since 1965. During his thirty three years in the medical profession he has specialized in Endocrinology. After completing his B Sc in Chemistry from the Allahabad University in 1960, he did his MBBS from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 1965. Thereafter he did his MRCP (UK) in 1974, D Phil from Oxford University in 1975 and FRCP in 1988. He was later made a FACP and FACC in 1995 and 1996 respectively. He was awarded a Rhodes scholarship to study at the Magdalene College in UK which he attended from 1967-69. Thereafter he worked in various hospitals in UK till 1991. Since 1991 he has been in the USA as the Chief of Division of Endocrinology and Professor of Medicine in the State University of New York and Director, Diabetes - Endocrinology Center of Western New York, Millard Fillmore Health System at Buffalo in USA. He has been a member of various scientific and learned societies that include the British Diabetes Association, the European Association for the study of Diabetes, -the American Heart Association, the International Diabetes Federation and the International Society for Hypertension in Blacks. He has presented a large number of papers, written numerous articles and delivered a series of lectures on prestigious platforms around the world. For his research and medical professional work he has received a number of honours and awards including the Distinguished Service Award of the American Diabetes Association (1993). He ha^ also been visiting professor at the Universities of Riyad (1980, 1981) and Jeddah (1983, 1984) and Adviser on Diabetes to the University of Jeddah. Vijay Kumar Shunglu has been in the Indian Administrative Service since 1962. During his distinguished service of thirty four years in India's premier service he has held various assignments in his allotted state Madhya Pradesh where he rose to be the Principal Secretary, Finance and Commercial Taxes. During his service he has been seconded to the Union Government where he has held various posts in the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Finance and Cabinet Secretariat. From 1985 to 1990 he was on deputation to the Asian Development Bank. In 1993 he was promoted and appointed Special Secretary, Ministry of Power, Thereafter he was appointed Secretary, Health & Family Welfare;Secretary, Industrial Policy & Promotion and Secretary, Company Affairs. In 1994 he was alternate leader of the Indian Delegation to the International; Conference on Population and Development held in Cairo in 1994. Inspite of all his multifarious responsibilities, Vijay Kumar Shunglu has kept up his interest in Reading, Bridge and Swimming. In 1996 he was appointed to the constitutional position of Comptroller and Auditor General of India and was sworn in by the President of India for a five year term. Deepak Banker has been a dynamic entrepreneur in the manufacture of textile machinery in India. He has been chairman and managing director of Kunal Engineering Company Limited, with distinction and has made this company a leader in the industry. He has been associated with numerous Trade and Professional bodies, including Indo-German of Commerce, Hindustan Chamber of Commerce (as a president), Madras Chamber of Commerce, Textile Machinery Manufactures Association (as chairman), Asia-Pacific Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Engineering Export Promotion Council and South India Textile Research Association. He has been an the management of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry(FICCI) since 1979, as a Member of its executive committee in 1992 he was the president of the all India Organization of Employers. For these years 1993-1995 he was a chairman of India-Singapore, India-Thailand, India-Malaise and India-Indonesia joint Business Councils of FICCI. He is currently the President of Indian Council Of Arbitration. For the years 1995-1996 he has been elected President of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), India's apex Organization for Trade, Commerce and Industry.Deepak Banker by his dynamism and qualities of leadership, has distinguished himself as an Old Boy of The Scindia School. Moti Dar passed out from The Scindia School in 1953 after completing his Senior Cambridge. He joined the National Defence Academy and later the Indian Military Academy from where he was Commissioned into the Poona Horse in June 1958. He later graduated from the Defence Services Staff College and was awarded the M Sc. degree. On promotion to the rank of the Lieutenant Colonel, he raised and commanded 82 Armoured Regiment. During his long and distinguished service in the Indian Army, Moti Dar had important Command, Staff and instructional appointments. He commanded a Mountain Brigade in high altitude and an Armoured Brigade. Thereafter, he was promoted to the rank of Major General and appointed General Officer Commanding of a Rapid Division in semi desert terrain. Later he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General and appointed General officer Commanding of India's only Desert Corps. He also served as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Southern Command. He saw active action in the Sialkot Sector during the Indo-Pak War of 1965. He was seriously wounded while spearheading a tank attack with the Poona Horse in the Shakarghar Sector in the 1971 war. In 1984 he was awarded the 'Ati Vishisht Seva Medal' by the President of India, for distinguished services when commanding the Mountain Brigade in High Altitudes. Widely travelled in India and abroad, Moti Dar also had varied interests in art, environment and wildlife. An acclaimed artist he held many exhibitions in prestigious art galleries in India and Abroad. By his outstanding professional contributions to the Indian Army Moti Dar distinguished himself as an Old Boy of The Scindia School. Ramesh Chauhan has been a dynamic entrepreneur in the Indian soft drinks industry. During the 60's he worked on Research & Development energy saving in the processing of fruits and fruit drinks. Later he pioneered the manufacture of a soft drink concentrate in India without foreign collaboration. These drinks so successful that it resulted in his company being able to compete in the world market, as well as giving franchises abroad.

Later he pioneered the manufacture in India, of machinery for soft drinks. For these efforts on his part, he received the award outstanding export performance in processed foods from the government of India. He also received the United Nations council of India-youth award in 1986, for developing local entrepreneurship, self reliance and developing the soft drinks industry in India. He has also been involved in the setting up of and running the Chauhan institute of science, Bombay and a charitable hospital in Pardi , Bulsar.

He had another 'first' to his credit when he commenced publishing the "Limca Book of Records" in India. After many years of being leader in the soft drink market in India, he has became a name recognized the world over with his Indian products. Ramesh Chauhan by his dynamism and invasiveness has distinguished himself as an Old Boy of The Scindia School. Kaushal Kumar Mathur has been an officer in the Indian Administrative service since 1960. He did his masters from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University and Post Graduate studies from Princeton University, USA in Economic Planning, Economic Development and Financial Management. Later, in service, he was selected for a special course St. the Harvard University in USA.

During his long and distinguished service in the Indian Administrative Service, he has held very many important positions in financial management , planning and industrial management in Government. These include, Secretary and director of Industries, Delhi Administration; Director, Union Ministry of Industries; Joint Secretary (Navy), Ministry of Defence, Chief Secretary, Goa, Daman & Diu; Chief Secretary, Delhi; Special Secretary, Department of Power; and Special Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs.

In 1991, he took over the assignment of Secretary, Government of India in the Department of Family Welfare, where he was widely regarded as a Dynamic officer, who had pushed the country towards the self proclaimed goal of a reduction in population growth, a step that was noticed by a large number of world bodies, including the Asia-Pacific Conference held at Bali, Indonesia in 1992. During his service he has also served as Development Adviser to the Royal Government of Bhutan for four years.

Inspite of his busy schedule as a senior officer in the Indian Administrative Service, he has kept up his interest in literature, music, hiking, dramatics and games. He authored a book 'Nicobar Islands' published by the National Book Trust, which was translated into six other Indian languages. He has also written various short stories in various Hindi magazines. Ananda Shankar has been a pioneer in the field of performing arts in India. His landmark in the field of music has been the synthesis of Indian and western instruments. His music is heard regularly over the radio, on television, at plays, on airlines, at fashion shows and in films. His music has gained wide acceptance and it appeals to people of all ages and all walks of life. He has used Western instruments that create music which does not follow any rigid rules of the raga system. It is music that is unique and daring in its production.

Ananda Shankar and his troupe have performed at many national and international functions such as the festival of the USSR in India, the Festival of India in the USSR, Asiad 1982 , World Cup Cricket Tournament, The Yuv Vani Programmes and other such prestigious functions. He has performed in USA, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Nepal, Yugoslavia, Hungary, Switzerland, France, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, Thailand, USSR and countries of Africa. In 1989, Ananda Shankar was the chief Producer of Bharatiyam performed at the Closing Ceremony of the Jawaharlal Nehru Centenary program. This year he and his troupe have been selected to perform in Europe by the department of Tourism. Madhavrao Jivajirao Scindia is the scion of the royal family of Gwalior. He received his higher education at Winchester College, England. After having distinguished himself at the hallowed portals of oxford University, he returned to serve the people of his homeland, representing their interests in parliament

He has shown exemplary dedication and devotion to his constitutional role as a member of the Lok Sabha from 1971 till date. He has held the charge of Union Minister for railways from December, 1984 till December 1989. Under his dynamic leadership this ministry achieved unheard of heights. He has been a member of various parliamentary consultative committees. He has led and represented the country at various confidences abroad and has had the distinction of being Minister-in-Waiting to the President of India on his official visits abroad.

Madhavrao Jivajirao Scindia's keen interest in sports is legendary. He is presently the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India. He also heads the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association and Madhya Pradesh Wild life Society. His interest in education of the youth is also well known. He is on the board of Governors of various educational institutions. Madhavrao Jivajirao Scindia, by his selfless devotion to the upliftment of society has established traditions and set standards for all, thus distinguishing himself as an Old Boy of Scindia School. Nandan Kagal has been a journalist of extremely high repute in India. Having graduated from St.Stephen's College in Delhi, he proceeded to the United states of America to do advanced studies in chemistry. In the meanwhile the independence of the country had already fixed his imagination and he decided to do journalism instead. He thus did his graduation in journalism from the North Western University,Illinois,USA

Having selected journalism as a career, he worked with the Scotsman in Edinburgh, Press trust of India, Assistant Editor of the Free Press Journal, Assistant Editor of the Times of India and finally Resident editor (Delhi) of the Indian Express from 1965 till his passing away in 1972. Nandan Kagal is best remembered as a journalist who crusaded for causes which he considered just. He was committed to honest and sincere journalism and made it a mission to uphold his views. He was combated to social causes and did not hesitated to call a spade a spade, if he felt strongly about it.

Nandan Kagal by his services and honest approach to the profession of journalism had distinguished himself as an Old Boy of Scindia School. The Scindia School confers of Late Nandan Kagal the Madhav Award posthumously, as an Old Boy of Eminence for the year 1989.
