Who was Shivaji?
Shivaji Bhonsle is revered as one of India’s legendary leaders. Also known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Shivaji was an Indian warrior king and a member of the Bhonsle Maratha clan. Shivaji carved out an enclave from the declining Adilshahi sultanate of Bijapur that formed the genesis of the Maratha Empire. In 1674, and was formally crowned as the Chhatrapati of his realm at Raigad. Shivaji established a competent and progressive civil rule with the help of a disciplined military and well-structured administrative organisations.

The Motto of the House is "Gunna Pooja Sthanam"

About the Housemaster Mr. Perminder Singh has an experience of more than fifteen years in teaching Accountancy and Business Studies. Before joining The Scindia School, he has worked with the Kasiga School, Dehradun, and the Indian Public School. He has served in these institutions, as a Housemaster and Head of the Department. He is passionate about cricket and loves trekking and exploring destinations..
