The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with a spirit of tradition and national pride. Mr. Anil Mehta, an Old Boy from the batch of 1984 and a renowned cinematographer in the Bollywood industry, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The event featured the customary March Past, a cherished Scindian tradition, which was further enhanced by the active participation of the batches of 1975 and 1984. Mr. Ajay Singh, the Principal, addressed the gathering, followed by the Chief Guest’s speech.
The gathering then proceeded to the special ‘Astachal,’ where a floral tribute was offered to the statue of the Eternal Pilgrim by the Principal, Vice Principal, and the Chief Guest. The Astachal ceremony included the chanting of Shlokas, a musical fusion, and a moment of silence observed by the dignitaries and all present.
