The 28th Annual Sports Banquet was a celebration of achievements in sports and a lesson in determination. Our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Mir Ranjan Negi, Hockey Player and former National Coach, shared his inspiring journey—one of facing adversity, rising above criticism and ignominy, and staying true to his passion for the game. His story is an epitome of the power of perseverance and the strength of character. The film Chak De India was inspired by the story of Mr. Mir Ranjan Negi, making his presence even more special and motivating for the students.
The evening honored the school’s sports captains, and students who have won colours for their remarkable achievements across various sports. Principal Mr. Ajay Singh reminded students that success is not just about talent but about the grit to keep going despite the odds. Just as Mr. Negi never let challenges deter him, we too must embrace every hurdle as a stepping stone to greatness.
