The Makar Sankranti celebrations at Madhav Pavilion and the Oval Field on were beautiful, bringing together Scindians in camarederie to honour the festival of kites and harvest. The vibrant skies were adorned with colourful kites. The enthusiasm of the students and staff was visible in the way they participated in the kite flying, competing with each other to see who could fly the kites higher. Adding to the festive charm was the delightful aroma of savouries. Participants and spectators alike enjoyed piping hot mangodis and crisp kachoris, prepared fresh to add warmth and flavour to the chilly winter afternoon. The sun which had been playing hide and seek in the morning, shone brightly in the afternoon. A celebration of unity, tradition, and joy as we welcomed the transition of the sun's journey from the Southern to the Northern Hemisphere.
