IPSC MUSIC FESTIVAL 24

The campus came alive with the beats and symphony of music when we hosted 'Saaz-e-Rang' IPSC Music Fest from October 27 to 29, 2024, featuring 16 renowned schools and 350 talented students. The opening ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp and a heartfelt welcome from Principal Mr. Ajay Singh, who welcomed the delegates to the 'city of music'. He declared the fest open, emphasized that music unites the world torn apart by chaos and disharmony. The day's competitions included Hindi Patriotic Group Song and Indian Classical Percussion Solo, captivating the audience. The evening showcased thrilling performances by the Rock Band, PSYX before the competition of the Western rock band commenced.

On the second day of the Fest, the Competition for Indian Classical Vocal- Solo, Indian Classical Melodic Instrument and Indian Instrumental Orchestra were held. The judges for the events were Pandit Shriram Umrekar ji and Shri Govind Dharkar ji.

In the evening competition for Western Vocal Solo and Western Instrumental -solo were held. Dr. Manoj Mishra and Mr Shiv Kumar Sharma were the judges for the competition.

Final day of the music fest saw the assembly hall come alive with sufi qawwali. ‘duma dum mast kalandar’, ‘aaj rang hai ri maa’ and ‘ is shane karam ka kya kehna’. The chief guest of the closing ceremony was Dr Smita Sahastrabudhe, Vice Chancellor, Raja Mansingh Tomar Music & Art University, Gwalior. The awards for various categories were given out.
