The 19th Suryodaya IT Fest was held in The Scindia School from 8 April to 9 April 2024. It epitomized the spirit of innovation and collaboration. As the Internet of Things (IoT) ventures into its next evolutionary phase, it reaches new heights under the banner of "Empowering Innovations." This signals a smoother flow of data from IoT devices, enabling real-time local data analysis. Embracing the dynamic landscape of the IT world has become a passionate mission among the community of Scindians, and thus, The Scindia School commemorates each milestone with fervor. This year's event theme, 'Empowering Innovations,' set the stage for a cyber celebration and innovation extravaganza ingrained in the Scindian calendar, organized by Cyber Scindia, the school's computer society. Led by tech-savvy students, this collective initiative aims to cultivate awareness and adoption of emerging IT trends within the student community. Aptly named 'Suryodaya,' the event spotlights budding talents and ignites the intellects of students from leading public schools across the nation. Drawing attendees from twelve schools nationwide including Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior; Mayo College Girls School, Ajmer; Welham Boys, Dehradun; Delhi Public School, Indore; Lawrence School, Lovedale; Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar; Punjab Public School, Nabha; B K Birla Center for Education, Pune; Mayo Boys, Ajmer; Daly College, Indore; Vasant Valley and The Scindia School, the event explored cutting-edge technologies across ten events, pushing the boundaries of innovation. Over the two days, participants showcased ingenious blends of technology and art. The Principal, Mr Ajay Singh welcomed the participating schools in his welcome speech. Rohan Asrani, the compere of the Opening Ceremony, outlined the purpose of the Fest. The Ceremony of Lighting the Lamp was carried out and the Principal declared the Fest open. The performance of the Scindian Rock Band mesmerized the audience. Over two days, students participated in a range of computer-based competitions. The event witnessed participants showcasing their talents in diverse competitions, workshops, and presentations. The event concluded on April 9th with Ms Sumita Arora gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest. She led an engaging afternoon session, delving into the current landscape of technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence, in an interactive discussion with the participants. The Scindia School lifted the trophy of the 19th Suryodaya IT Fest. Way to go Scindia!
