127th Founder's Day

Founder’s Day 2024 at The Scindia School commenced with a grand morning assembly that set the tone for the celebrations. The day began with the ceremonial unfurling of the school flag, marking a proud moment for the Scindian community. Old boys and members of the Board of Governors were present to witness this special occasion. The batch representative of 1999 addressed the gathering, adding a personal touch to the ceremony. This was followed by the much-awaited release of new publications, signifying the school's continued progress in both academics and culture.
As the day unfolded, the atmosphere was further enlivened with the inauguration of a thoughtfully curated exhibition by the parents of the SSP (Senior School Prefect), providing an insight into the achievements and creativity of the students.
The events in the evening witnessed the welcome of the chief guest Dr S Somanath, Chairman of ISRO who viewed the exhibitions.the programme in OAT commenced with a harmonious rendition of the school song, followed by a soulful orchestra performance that echoed the school's deep-rooted tradition of artistic excellence. Mr. Ajay Singh, the esteemed Principal, then took the stage to present the Principal's Report, highlighting the year’s key milestones and the school's accomplishments. His Highness Maharaja Jyotiraditya M Scindia delivered a heartfelt welcome address, emphasizing the importance of community and tradition at The Scindia School.
The occasion also witnessed the presentation of annual awards, honouring the remarkable achievements of students. The Chief Guest, Dr. S. Somanath, delivered an inspiring speech. A highlight of the ceremony was the prestigious Madhav Award, which was presented to Mr. Amit Jain, Group CEO of Emaar Group, Dubai. Mr. Jain’s nostalgic speech was filled with fond memories and anecdotes from his time at the school, resonating with everyone present. In a symbolic gesture of continuity, Mr. Jain passed the Lamp of the School to the youngest student, signifying the passing of wisdom and tradition to the next generation.
The day concluded with a stunning thematic choreography performance, leaving the audience mesmerized. The Senior School Prefect delivered a gracious vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective effort of the entire school community in making the day a memorable success.

 AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS FOR 2023-24
1. The Umang Mathur Memorial Trophy for the best in academics in Class XI for 2023-24 was won by KESHAV JHUNJHUNWALA of JAYAJI HOUSE.
2. The Mahendra Mishra Memorial Trophy for the best Sportsman in Class XI for 2023-24 was won by AMOGH BHARGAVA of DAULAT HOUSE.
3. The Maharaja Madhavrao Scindia II Medal for All Round Proficiency in class XI for 2023-24 was won by KESHAV JHUNJHUNWALA of JAYAJI HOUSE.
4. The Sampitroda award for the best innovative project “A drone capable of carrying a human passenger” for 2024-25 was won by MEDHANSH TRIVEDI of MADHAV House.
5. The R. B. Pawar Medal for scoring the highest percentage of marks in Mathematics in the class XII Board examination 2023-24 was won by SWEJEET TAPARIA of MAHADJI HOUSE and KESHAV VALLABH BHAGAT of MADHAV HOUSE.
6. The Governor’s Medal for scoring the Highest Percentage of Marks in the Class XII Board examination 2023-24 was won by KRRISHN LEELOTPAL DIVYAA of RANOJI HOUSE.
7. The Field Marshal Cariappa Shield for the best sportsman for 2023-24 was won by DHARMENDRA SINGH MONGA of JAYAJI HOUSE.
8. The Maharaja JEEVAJI Rao Scindia Medal for All Round Proficiency in class XII for 2023-24 was won by DEV PRATAP BANSAL of JAYAPPA HOUSE.
9. The Khurshid Lakdawala, Jr. HOUSE EFFICIENCY SHIELD for 2023-24 was won by KANERKHED HOUSE.
10. The Guru Hargovind Singh (Gurdwara) Trophy for the best house in academics for the year 2023-24 was won by RANOJI HOUSE.
11. The Nepal Trophy for the best House in games & sports for 2023-24 was won by RANOJI HOUSE.
12. The General Efficiency Shield for 2023-24 was shared between MAHADJI HOUSE AND RANOJI HOUSE.
