Who was Shivaji?
Shivaji Bhonsle is revered as one of India’s legendary leaders. Also known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Shivaji was an Indian warrior king and a member of the Bhonsle Maratha clan. Shivaji carved out an enclave from the declining Adilshahi sultanate of Bijapur that formed the genesis of the Maratha Empire. In 1674, and was formally crowned as the Chhatrapati of his realm at Raigad. Shivaji established a competent and progressive civil rule with the help of a disciplined military and well-structured administrative organisations.

The Motto of the House is "Gunna Pooja Sthanam"

About the Housemaster Mr. Perminder Singh has an experience of more than fifteen years in teaching Accountancy and Business Studies. Before joining The Scindia School, he has worked with the Kasiga School, Dehradun, and the Indian Public School. He has served in these institutions, as a Housemaster and Head of the Department. He is passionate about cricket and loves trekking and exploring destinations..

Five students participated in the Republic Day Camps 2024.
Another group of five attended the Young CEO Bootcamp in December 2023.

Notable Individual Accomplishments:

Shaurya Prakash completed courses on International Criminal Law, Sustainable Future, and Magna Carta from esteemed universities.
Sameep Mody, Shaurya Prakash, and Abhyuday Bansal participated in the BML Munjal Moot Court Competition, with Sameep winning Best Speaker.
Students actively participated in various Model United Nations (MUN) conferences, including DCMUN 2023 and the Oxford MUN.

Publications and Editorial Roles

Sameep Mody served as Editor-in-Chief for both ‘Lex Visum Scindia’ and ‘Nucleus’ magazines.
Shaurya Prakash was Editor-in-Chief of ‘Uplabdhi Magazine’ and Senior Editor of ‘Lex Visum.’
Additional editorial contributions were made by Kavish Patwari and Harshvardhan Wadher.

Service and Community Engagement

Students co-founded an NGO named ‘Vidhi Upyog’ in Mumbai, executing two plantation drives.
Participation in community art service projects and the Ladakh Service Project 2023.

Sports Achievements

Shivaji House secured 1st place in Chess (A Group, B Group, and Overall tournaments) and won the Basketball Overall Trophy.
The house also achieved 2nd place in the March Past competition and won the Open Shooting Intra-Set Championship 2023-2024.

Individual Accolades:

Harshvardhan Wadher won three silver medals in the Inter-House Athletics Meet.
Parakram Dudi was recognized as the Upcoming Player in Football Inter-House ‘B’ and Rookie Player in Basketball Inter-House ‘B.’
