Metal Work

Metal Work The membership for the Metal Work Society is much sought after. The thought of using big tools, to weld and to create a piece of work combining beauty and utility by cutting and bending iron, stirs the imagination of the boys. The boys always work under supervision and are made aware of the hazards and safety measures.

The art of crafting beautiful metallic pieces requires skills and patience. The students work on soft metal which is about 4-6mm thick, which is easy to cut and bend. It is then given a shape, a design and painted. Most such boys are forever more ready to lay their hands on motorcycles and cars.
