Pi & Ramanujam Club for Mathematics

Every week, the future mathematical geniuses meet in the Mathematics Department and give concreteness to their abstract ideas in the form of 3D shapes, figures based on Sacred Geometry of ancient times, Origami, Mathematical puzzles and games.The students make extensive and creative use of geometrical Instruments, wooden boards and chart papers in this hobby. The hobby enhances the natural interest of the student in Mathematics.

The Pi Club is becoming popular as it gives the opportunity to gain the knowledge and attitude needed to become lifelong learners of mathematics. The activities are totally non-competitive but the club has been instrumental in whetting the appetite for the subject. It also enhances Reasoning and Mathematical Skills required for many competitive exams.
