Model United Nations

Model United Nations (MUN), is an educational simulation where students learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. MUN improves research, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities. During the hobby classes, the students learn to:

• Research on the country and the topic assigned to them
• Understand the various organs of United Nations thoroughly
• Learn the rules and procedures of UN
• Keep well-informed of the world situation and crises
• Draft a resolution
• Negotiate and lobby for their position
• Take a stand

We have an SOP, for all to see in the Common folder of the School, which guides the young aspirants in preparing for the inter-school MUN. Model UN builds skills that are useful in a wide variety of fields, with many participants having gone on to become leaders in diplomacy, politics, law and the media.
