Like in previous years, January 25 witnessed an august gathering of Old Boys as the batches of 1975 and 1984 came together for a heartfelt ‘homecoming’ moment. For the Old Boys, returning to their alma mater is like stepping into a time capsule, where every corner of the school holds memories of joy, fun, and learning.
The Principal, Mr. Ajay Singh, welcomed and addressed them as the ‘Stars of Scindia’ during the gathering at the Assembly Hall. In his speech, Mr. Singh expressed his gratitude for their deep-rooted connection and humility towards their alma mater—a spirit that defines every Scindian at heart. His words also echoed the Scindian ethos that Old Boys never forget to ‘learn, earn, and return.’
Later, Mr. Dhanraj Manikprabhu, a representative of the 1975 batch, reminisced and relived the golden memories of school life, revisiting the place where it all began. Returning to their alma mater was an opportunity to reopen the treasure trove of memories, which he cherished through his heartfelt stories and poetic self-expression.
A soulful ‘Ghazal’ performance by young Scindian artists further enriched the occasion, adding to its emotional depth. In the end, Mr. Sanjay Mishra from the Golden Jubilee batch and Mr. Anshul from the Class of 1984 delivered a vote of thanks, emphasizing how “time has flown, but memories and bonds remain timeless” in their journey of life.
