Business Bee Club

The idea of this Club originated in the Business study classes. This was in response to students’ query about the nation and the world at large, resulting in the formation of The Business Bee Club in 2012. The main purpose is to develop entrepreneurial flair in the students, and to inform them about major national and international financial events. The hobby is conducted for two periods in a week and is open to students of Classes XI and XII. The members discuss contemporary economic issues, study and understand business models and develop the confidence to evaluate business matters. The members also familiarise the school community with economic terminologies like budget, Sensex, stock market, boom and bust, inflation and recession, insurance & Investments etc. This is done by conducting assemblies, and by displaying charts on boards.
