The Motto of the House is "Sampadam Daivim Abhijato Asi", which means we all are born with divine wealth.
Who was Jayaji ?
After a long period of turmoil, His Highness Maharaja Jayajirao Scindia provided stability to the State of Gwalior. Jayajirao Scindia started modernizing the State of Gwalior from the young age of 19. He established a new revenue collection system and set up a judicial system with courts and judges. In 1872, Jayajirao Scindia loaned Rs 75 lakhs for the construction of the Agra-Gwalior portion of the Great Indian Peninsular Railway, and constructed many new buildings, reconstructed the Koteshwar Mandir, and donated Rs 15 lakhs for the reconstruction of Gwalior Fort’s boundary wall and the broken parts of Man Mandir, Gujari Mahal and Johar Kund.
About the Housemaster
Mr Sumit Chakrabarty, from the faculty of Commerce is the House Master of Jayaji House. His democratic style of functioning and his constant motivation and counselling of students helped bring about a culture of excellence in the house and school. A person gifted with an analytical bent of mind and a multi-dimensional vision, he displays a deep insight into all problems and possesses the ability to bring innovative and original solutions to them. With a firm belief in introspection as a touchstone he aspires to untiringly satiate his hunger for knowledge.

Academic Achievements
- Jayesh Nitharwal was the batch topper of Class 12 with an impressive aggregate score of 98.6%, earning the Governor’s Medal.
- In Grade XII, 10 students appeared for the CBSE Board Examinations, achieving a house average of 87%.
- In Class X, 16 students appeared for the CBSE Board Examinations, with a house average of 91%.
- Ayaan Agarwal, Swarit Varshney, Keshav Jhunjhunwala, and Kumar Abhikshit Narayam were honored with the Scholar’s Scarf, and 10 students were invited to the Scholar’s Banquet.
- 9 students signed the Honor’s Book, and 9 were selected for the VP’s Breakfast.
Co-Curricular Achievements
- Jayaji House won the Overall March Past Trophy for 2023-24.
- The house secured 2nd place in the Table Tennis Interhouse Competition and was 1st runner-up in the A Group Chess Championship.
- Jayaji House placed 2nd in the A Group English Debate, with Ayaan Agarwal being awarded Best Speaker.

- Saksham Agarwal was awarded Most Promising Speaker at the MCGS Hindi Debate Conclave.
- Rushil Rajan was part of the best band at the Vision 23 competition.
- Shiv Shah secured a top 10 position in the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition.
- Swarit Varshney participated in the United for Hockey Invitational Cup and secured 3rd position.
- Prataksh Sharma received 1st Honorable Mention at O.P. Jindal MUN.
